What is OVU Lab?

A lab designed to become useful.

OVU Lab is a personal infrastructure project shaped through disciplined, hands-on learning. Its early work focused on the fundamentals: networks, Linux systems, services, and the habits that make technology dependable.

That learning now supports a real, reusable platform—one intended to host thoughtful projects while keeping operations measured, maintainable, and security-conscious.

Tools, ideas, and habits

OVU Lab brings together Git-based workflows, Linux administration, web serving with Nginx, PostgreSQL foundations, monitoring concepts, and practical automation. The goal is not complexity for its own sake—it is learning to make clear, repeatable, and responsible technical decisions.

OVU Lab is intentionally security-conscious. Public publishing is limited to approved content, while the learning environment and its operational systems remain thoughtfully separated.
